A 4-week live group experience for women who are tired of carrying the thing they can't figure out how to say
✔️ Clarity on what to say
✔️ Confidence in how to say it
✔️Support while you do it
You know something needs to be said.
You just don’t know where to start.
There's something in your marriage that isn't working.
You know it. You've known it for a while.
But every time you think about bringing it up, you hit a wall. Because you genuinely don't know where to start. The thing is too big, too tangled, too loaded with history and hurt and the very real possibility that saying something makes it worse instead of better.
So you stay stuck, wondering:
✔️ What would I even say?
✔️ What if it comes out wrong and he gets defensive?
✔️ What if I hurt him?
✔️ What if nothing actually changes — and then what?
And quietly, in your weariness, you wonder, Is it even worth the effort?
So you don't say anything right then. (Or later, to be honest.)
You absorb it. You manage around it.
You switch your attention to something else. The kids. The calendar. Your phone. The next thing on the to-do list.
And little by little, the distance between you grows.
That doesn’t mean your marriage is broken. It just means you don’t have a roadmap for how to move things forward.
Here’s what I want you to know:
The reason this feels impossible isn't because your marriage is too far gone, or because you're not brave enough, or because your husband can't change.
It's because nobody ever taught you how to do this.
Nobody ever never taught you how to have a productive conversation that doesn’t end either in a blowup, or in stony silence. How to address the real root underneath the frustration and stay a team in the process.
These are skills. Learnable, practicable, real skills.
And that's exactly what Say the Thing is built to give you.
A 4-week live group experience that gives you the real tools to bring up what matters — without starting a fight, without shutting him down, and without going around in the same unproductive circles.
This isn't a lecture series or a webinar you'll forget by Monday. It's a small, intentional group of women — no more than 12 — working through real material together in real time. With space to ask questions, think out loud, and figure out what you actually want to say before the moment arrives.
By the end of four weeks together, you’ll have:
Introducing Say the Thing
Real Tools for the Conversations You've Never Known How to Have
of where the communication has been falling apart, and what actually needs to be said instead
A clear picture
A roadmap
of the actual words, framing, and approach to use
A better conversation than you’ve had in a long time
with accountability and support to help you get there
Hi, I’m Rachel.
I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist (California LMFT #120068) and the host of The Vibrant Marriage Podcast — but more than any of that, I'm someone who has lived the hard side of marriage and come out the other side believing deeply in what it can be.
I've spent years sitting with couples in my therapy practice, helping them find the words for things they've never known how to say. I've watched people who felt completely stuck — who had been circling the same arguments for years, or had gone so quiet they'd nearly stopped trying — learn how to actually talk to each other again. And I've done my own hard work in my own marriage, too. So I know this territory from both sides of the room.
Say the Thing isn't a lecture. It's a small, warm, practical space where we work through this together — and where you'll never feel like just a face in a crowd. I keep these groups intentionally small because I want to know your situation, speak to it directly, and walk with you all the way through.
You don't have to have it all figured out before you show up. You just have to be willing to try.
I'd love to walk through this with you.
Say the Thing is a small, intimate group experience — and I want to make sure it’s a great fit for you before you commit! Fill out this short form and I'll be in touch asap.
I’d love to have you in the room.
